This is big news. Sadly, I am not that excited about it, as it seems more relevant for professional use cases than personal ones. I am not a person who lives by his Google calendar, nor do I tend to forget context from emails, meetings, or prior documents. For me, it is more likely that this update makes me revisit the way I use Google Workspace than the way I use Claude.

Still, always exciting to see new features developed, and this is your weekly reminder that refusing to engage with AI will be impossible soon. If you have your head in the sand, this will be meeting you with a shovel within months.

Also, this integration is a key one for Claude in its fight for relevance. Should this make us slightly more bearish on Gemini? Or more bullish on Google Workspace? Both?
